FIELDS OF APPLICATION

PROTECT NTS is an impregnation especially designed to preserve the appearance of surfaces of concrete products during laying.

The slightly colour deepening product protects concrete blocks against contaminants, e.g. sludge and humus, during laying and simplifies the subsequent cleaning process.

PROTECT NTS is applied either on the dry or the wet site of production and suitable for all mechanically processed or finished concrete surfaces, e.g. grinded, washed and blasted surfaces.

PROTECT NTS is not suitable for dense concrete structures such as slabs.

WORKING PRINCIPLE

PROTECT NTS effectively seals the pores on the concrete surface with a closed film, preventing liquids to penetrate into the concrete matrix, while retaining permeability to water vapour.

The closed surface reduces staining, efflorescence and simplifies cleaning, as liquid absorption into pores in the cement paste is minimised.

PROTECT NTS is not subject to colour change, it is highly resistant to UV-light and a wide range of chemical substances.

DOSAGE | APPLICATION QUANTITY

Depending on the surface structure and its absorption properties, the required amount usually varies between 60 - 120 g/m².
