FIELDS OF APPLICATION

PANTARHIT^® BV 30 is a sulphonated plasticizer for producing ready-mix concrete under hot weather conditions.

The product is especially formulated for concrete applications where good workability and high slump retention are required. Delaying the initial and final setting of concrete PANTARHIT^® BV 30 allows avoiding the incidence of cold joints.

PANTARHIT^® BV 30 is applied to enhance concrete’s consistency classes e.g. from S1 up to S3 or to reduce the quantity of tempering water.

WORKING PRINCIPLE

PANTARHIT^® BV 30 reduces the surface tension of water and ensures a strong plasticizing effect thereby. This leads on to a significant improvement in concrete’s workability, pumping, levelling and compaction.

PANTARHIT^® BV 30 does not entrain any air voids into the concrete but even reduces them. The setting of concrete is not impaired.

DOSAGE | APPLICATION QUANTITY

The general dosage range is 0.2 – 1.5 mass-% of the cement content.
