FIELDS OF APPLICATION

DURAHIT® WP300 is an efficient waterproofing agent especially designed for achieving depth hydrophobization by crystallisation for optimum water repellence in demanding concrete projects.

The water resisting admixture is suitable for concrete with advanced requirements in durability and quality and where optimum protection against water absorption is required.

DURAHIT® WP300 is therefore particularly suitable for concrete applied in:

§  Tunnel constructions
§  Sewage treatment plants
§  Water retaining constructions
§  Drainage constructions
§  Reinforced concrete constructions in marine environment

WORKING PRINCIPLE

DURAHIT® WP300 reacts with calcium ions in concrete and forms a structure of water-insoluble crystals and generates a hydrophobic concrete texture thereby.
This hydrophobic effect reduces the capillary suction and decreases concrete’s water absorption abilities.

DOSAGE | APPLICATION QUANTITY

Recommended dosage range 1.0 – 4.0 mass-% of the cement content.
